The final crown is planned before the implant is placed
We decide where the finished crown needs to sit, then work backwards to find the position and angle for the fixture. An implant placed where the bone happens to be, rather than where the bite needs it, does not last.
If bone is missing we discuss grafting; if the nerve canal is close we adjust depth and length. Where the margin is only a few millimetres we make a surgical guide.
Placement
The fixture is placed along the planned path, with a guide when the margin is tight.
Restoration
Once integration is confirmed, the gum is shaped and the final crown is fitted.
